Dr. Dan Hagi

Educated at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Hagi was one of the youngest graduates to ever receive his doctorate degree. During his years of private practice Dr. Hagi gained a passion for aesthetic dentistry. Pursuing his focused interest, he continued his learning in the areas of minimally invasive aesthetic, general and implant dentistry.

Dr. Michael Sonick is a full time practicing periodontist and implant surgeon in Fairfield, Connecticut. He is also an active teacher, clinical researcher and author. Dr. Sonick received his dental degree from the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut, completed his General Practice Residency at Metropolitan Hospital in New York and received his Certificate in Periodontics from Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta, Georgia. He later atte

nded Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he received his Certificate in Implantology.

He is a on the Editorial Boards of the Compendium of Continuing Dental Education, Functional Esthetics and Restorative Dentistry, Inside Dentistry, Journal of Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry, Journal of Implant and Advanced Clinical Dentistry, Dental XP, and the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has published over 20 articles and is co-editor of the textbook, Implant Site Development. He currently is a Guest Lecturer at New York University School of Dentistry in their international dental program.

A sought after speaker and previous recipient of “Teacher of the Year” at Yale-New Haven Hospital, he presents over 30 programs a year both nationally and abroad. His topics include all facets of periodontal and implant surgery with a specific emphasis on soft tissue and bone regeneration for ideal implant placement. Dr. Sonick is the recipient of an Honorary Membership in the Indian Society of Periodontists, Fellowship in the American College of Dentists, Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Society and a member of Who’s Who in Dentistry.

Dr Sonick is founder and director of Sonick Seminars, a multidisciplinary teaching institute located in his clinical office and teaching center. Courses are given on all surgical aspects of periodontics and implant dentistry. Unique to this program is the three part continuum: dentists get to observe live surgery, participate during the Hand’s on portion and attend lectures. Courses are limited to 20 participants to maintain the intimacy of the group and to facilitate a great educational experience. Dr. Michael Tischler is an internationally recognized leader in the dental field for his achievements in educating his colleagues through many lectures and over 25 published articles on the topic of dental implants and bone grafting and cosmetic dentistry. Dr Nelson is the Clinical Director of Cranmore and was the first dentist in Northern Ireland to obtain a Masters Degree in Dental Implantology. He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of dental implants including placement, restoration and bone grafting procedures. He regularly accepts referrals from other dentists in relation to dental implant treatment.

Committed to continuing education, David was previously a Tutor on the Masters Degree Course in Implant Dentistry at the University of Central Lancashire. He is also a Tutor at the School of Dentistry, Queen’s University Belfast, where he delivers lectures in relation to dental implants to undergraduates. More recently Cranmore has been approved as the Irish Training Facility for the University of Central Lancashire, Institute of Postgraduate Dental Education, Masters Degree in Implant Dentistry, with David as Lead Clinical Supervisor.

David is the Northern Ireland Facilitator for the British Society of Oral Implantology and a Mentor and Study Club Facilitator for the International Team for Implantology. He has also established the Cranmore Academy which delivers a series of clinical and non-clinical CPD accredited study clubs for dentists.

Dr. Peter Wöhrle

Dr. Peter Wöhrle received his DMD degree cum laude and Master of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (1988). Additionally, he has completed advanced education programs in prosthodontics and implant dentistry at Harvard, and a four-year certified dental technician program in Switzerland. While at Harvard, he worked with his mentor, Dr. Paul Schnitman, on the groundbreaking concept of immediate loading with Brånemark implants. Once in private practice, Dr. Wöhrle applied these principles to the concept of immediate tooth replacement in the esthetic zone. More recently, Dr. Wöhrle developed the NobelPerfect scalloped margin implant system. He is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, the European Academy of Osseointegration, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and the American College of Prosthodontists. He is renowned as the only dentist with formal training in the interrelated fields of implants surgery, prosthodontics, and laboratory technology.
